As you probably have noticed, NigeriansTalk has been going through some changes lately. First of all there is the new design, which better reflects the nature of the outfit that NigeriansTalk has become over the last few months, namely a comprehensive Nigerian opinion, analysis and commentary website/groupblog. We are very thankful to Anna Erben, who designed the new NigeriansTalk logo. The whole template is designed to make it easy for you to find your way around the site; we hope it is as efficient as we think it is.
We have also added new sections to the site. One of them is a monthly guest post from non-Nigerians who follow Nigerian news very closely. The first of the series is by Alex Thurston, writer of the popular Sahel Blog. In his contribution he analyses the voting pattern of northern Nigeria during the recent presidential and gubernatorial elections. If you are non-Nigerian and you would be interested in contributing a guest post please leave a message here for Saratu Abiola, NigeriansTalk’s Politics Editor.
We have also, over Twitter (this is our handle), been asking you to send us questions about Nigeria’s social, economic and political development, with the promise that we will send them to experts. The first of them, from @EssentialBolu is:

We sent it to Ifeanyi Uddin, who works in the financial services industry in Nigeria, and who writes the Financial Matters column for NEXT (he is also a NigeriansTalk contributor). Another new section is the Weekly Ten, a review of important Nigeria-related news stories over the period of a week. It is curated by Temie Giwa.
