He did a B.A in Communication and Language Arts at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, a Masters in Development Studies at Uppsala University, Sweden, and a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology, Germany. He also blogs at www.loomnie.com.
